1.2 Million People Gathered in Brazil's Biggest Celebration

The 5th day Rio Carnival has started in Brazil. During this carnival, there is a crowd of people on the streets of Brazilian capital Rio de Janeiro. In this celebration, 12 lakh people, including nearly 4 lakh foreign tourists, have come together.

This carnival is estimated to be a huge benefit to Brazil. It is expected that Brazil can benefit about 72 billion crores. Before this, in the year 2017, this figure was half compared to this year.The Samba Parade taken on Block Street on Sunday is 100 years old. More than 450 bands were added to this parade. Thousands of people danced on the streets of Rio on the tune of the band. Due to the Rio Carnival, all the Rio hotels and flights were booked in December.

The Samba Parade has an interesting history. The parade was started in Brazil, besides Portugal and local African culture. Apart from performing culture and tradition, there is also a second belief about this parade. Local people say that this parade is organized to give thanks to God, instead of 'water' which is a precious gift of God.
